FEEDER: A short film that will make you feel sick. Conceived for Cancer Research UK, this project shows a day inside the mouth of a typical young smoker. Filmed entirely from inside a mouth, FEEDER tells a simple story of excess - what we consume may seem alluring to the naked eye, but to our bodies it can be repulsive. By simply turning the camera around to see events from inside the mouth, we see consumption in an entirely new light - what were once beautiful objects of desire or need, are suddenly and instantaneously transformed into something truly disgusting.
In order to make this film, we had to custom build a camera that could not only sit inside the mouth, but be able to stabilize itself and light the inside of the mouth.
